Welcome aboard! Seaplane Harbour is an exciting maritime museum in Tallinn, Estonia for the whole family. Located in the unique and historic seaplane hangar, our interactive exhibition includes a real submarine from mid-1930s, seaplane Short 184, a 100-year-old ice-breaker, two cinemas, many simulators and much more. And while you are here, take a look at one of the nicest souvenir shops in Tallinn or eat local food at our restaurant MARU.

I loved this. My concierge at the hotel recommended it so I gave it a try. Lots of great history about the war. There are some military ships behind that you are welcome to walk around as well. Loved this!

A wonderful building laid out in two layers. It isn’t crammed with objects which gives the sense of scale of the ocean and doesn’t overload the brain with information. The wonderful dinghies and marker buoys are at the upper level, level with the walkway, which...More

We loved the way that the things in the hanger were displayed at different heights to indicate whether they were usually in the air, on the surface or sub-surface. A collection of items related to the sea and to Estonian history, all very well described....More

It's very easy to visit Tallinn by plane. The airport is quite small and tram number 4 stops at the airport door. It takes only few minutes to town.

There's a lot of models of ships and submarines. You can go into them and learn what they looked like. A great place in my opinion.

The way that the Submarine Lembit has been put on display inside this architecturally stunning former Seaplane hangar is magical. She seems to be floating underwater with no obvious means of support and is well worth exploring inside. Outside there is the Suur Toll an...More
