We had hoped to cycle on the beach as part of our ride to Jurmala and back from Riga. Sadly the blustery weather and tide had other ideas! Still a great place.

Jurmala Beach is beautiful, wide, wild and very quiet in the fall. We were there in October and it was a bit overcast and windy, but just feels wonderful. It's smooth and even and very easy to walk, with small "Boardwalks" leading down close to...More

A spacious, not crowded beach with small grains sand. Sea: cold, but nice in term of the entrance - good for kinds. Beautiful views.

Watch out for jellyfish, but the water is warm and wonderful. Very spread out and quiet, but lots of sports and places to stop.

Lovely clean beach, with amazing sand. Great for a walk, or a sunbathe. Would strongly recommended this beach in summer, or autumn!

It is a pleasure to have a long walk on nice and sandy beach, to get a fresh breath of strong Baltic wind and to look at the waves. Especially if you are lucky with the weather which in Baltics is not pampers you often:)
