Typically touristy but also rather pretty. Plenty of shops, mainly selling clothes and jewellery but spotted a grocery and chemist as well. Seems to go on forever, we didn't manage to walk the full length of it, and that's even with taking a break in a cafe!

The Main Street in Jurmala is nice for shopping, walking, eating and people watching. It has clothing stores, food shops, convenience stores, a small market selling berries and flowers, hotels, restaurants, chocolate shops, cafes, a 5d movie theatre, and souvenir shops. There is also a nice park to stop at with gorgeous flowers. Some of the best restaurants can be... More

Worth of seeing and quite the only place where there are people hanging out in Jurmala (despite the beach). Nice little cafés and restaurants, butiques and stalls. Relaxed atmosphere, worth of going.

There are shops, restaurants, spa and even 5D-movie-theater. Beautiful location to just wander around. Not to be missed in Jürmala!

This is a Main Street in Jurmala, with many cozy cafés and restaurants. Very relaxed atmosphere. There are a lot of people there on weekends in July

Jurmala's broadway! Plenty of shops cafes, pubs in a lovely pine setting - new and old buildings, parallel to the amazing beach.

Too many people showing off prancing and preening. However, there are a number of decent bars and restaurants. Local 'tat' for sale in market stalls. Nothing special.

We strolled along this street on a sunny day taking our time to enjoy the stalls, colonial type houses, restaurants, hotels and bars. This is a beautiful long street taking you from the train station at Majori to the beach at Jurmala. The 30 minute train ride from Riga Central Station for less than 3 euro return is an absolute...
