We always take a hop on hop off city tour when we visit a new city .This is often the best way to discover the attractions and get a feel for where they are in relation to your base. This tour delivers but could be so much more ! There is a commentary , there are 3- 4 routes and... More

Had a day off while on business in this beautiful city. Just happened upon it during my walk around the city. As I had no particular expectations, I did really enjoy it. Maybe not the greatest way of seeing the city, but for a person alone, it's a great way to see it as well helping one get their bearings... More

Do not waste your time or money on the yellow sightseeing buses. We only went on this trip since the hotel provided us free vouchers for the service, and after taking the ride I would never recommend this to anyone. First of all Riga is a small city and most of the sights are at the old town, and this... More

A great way to see the city. This hop on hop off sightseeing tour is similar to other tours in most major cities. The tour with multi lingual audio guide in 10 languages takes you on a tour of the city noting historical, cultural and places of interest along the way. The tour takes one hour approx. As suggested you... More

Do not go ob that yellow bus, wrong information and does not show you all the places. Do not waste your money. They are just making money and lie about most of the things.

Like in nearly every city they offer and hop and off bus in Riga too. The idea itself is great but the thing is that Riga is so small that you can walk pretty much everywhere. It is definetely a good idea if you are not good in walking but for the other people its not necessary. Even to the... More

This bus goes every hour in winter ( starting 10.45 ) and leaves from the Town Square. It costs €15 and covers two routes the red and the blue lines each taking about 45 min and one joins on from the other. The headphones and commentary work well and I would recommend just staying on the bus and getting an... More

This isn't a big operation and another bus from the same company will not be by every 15 minutes to carry you to the next attraction...if you stay on the bus and use the ride for a kind of orientation ride to get a fix on where things are in relation to the old city , your hotel, etc it's... More

There are two tour bus operators in Riga. A yellow bus (this one) and a red bus. Both are hop-on hop-off. Our hotel offered a discount on the Yellow bus system and we signed up for their two day pass since we were starting in the afternoon. First day was excellent. The headsets offer multiple languages and are synched with... More
