"Panorama Riga" is a circular terrace - observation deck of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, offering breathtaking 360° panoramic views of Riga. The terrace is wide enough, so groups of tourists or companies of friends can feel free on the "Panorama Riga" observation deck. From the "Panorama Riga" observation deck, you can take wonderful photos with panoramic views of Riga, nothing obstructs the view, enclosures and glass reflections don’t interfere. You can watch the most beautiful sunset or have a romantic date in the height of 65 meters.

I walked here from Riga old town, past central market and I am so pleased that I did as it was a fascinating old building with fantastic views over Riga. It was nice to see Riga from a different perspective.

It is worth just seeing this building which is like something from the 1930s but was actually built 1958-62! It is only 5 euros to take the lift to the 15th floor from which you take another two flights of stairs to the observation terrace...More

The Building is a short walk from the old city, behind the train station. You get a good view of the city if the weather is nice and there aren't too many people there.

Heading up to the top of the Palace of Science observation deck is a good idea when the weather is clear. Mostly, the sun rises and hovers during the day in a position that provides good light for views of Old Town. This is also...More

This skyscraper dominates the city and provides an excellent starting point as you can get your bearings and see the whole city. The 1920's architecture is worth a visit. There is a lift to the 15th floor and then up 2 more floors on foot....More

Great views over Riga and about half the price of St. Peters, toilet paper doesn't seem to reach this altitude...take your own!

I went up to the Observation Deck after going to the Central Market. Good view from the tall building. Recommended.

Five euros to go up in the lift but worth if for the views from the top. Even on a wet and gloomy day we could see plenty. Note - the loo is on the 17th floor. Nothing at ground level.

Not worth the effort. Go to the Gutenberg Hotel terrace restaurant it has the same view but you can dine and drink there.

Hi, I found information that it's open every day on web page Live Riga. But I think you should ask direct at the page Latvian Academy of Science, they have an email and they should give you real answer :-)
