Christmas Lights

A good spot for a wee bit of lights before you head into the Christmas markets, the buildings look spectacular at night!

Riga Town Hall Sq is the most beautiful idyllic square in all the Baltic's. With one end open to the beautiful Stone bridge and Daugava river, other three sides are adorned with the vast Town Hall, imposing St. Peter's Church and fantastic House of Blackheads. It is a perfect photo spot, both day and night when lit up. The square... More

No European old town would be complete without a town square. Riga is no exception. Serving as the meeting place and center of activity this town square is broad and flanked with other attractions. In Riga's case The House of Blackheads is adjacent and St. Peter's Church sits just off the square. Town Hall is here, as well as markets... More

Worth a visit when walking around old town. Its not much more than a little square, but with charming buildings around it. In Old Town center, with plenty restaurants, bars, coffeeshops near.

The house of blackheads is so incredibly beautiful from the outside, but currently closed for visitors as they are setting up a new exhibit.

Most probably the best known Riga image. With its famous building The House of Blackheads it is worth to visit.

Riga is more than 800 years old. It has an astonishingly beautiful Old Town. Riga Town Hall Square has probably the most impressive building Black Heads' House.

The Town Hall Square is aleways worth a visit and is very photogenic. The whol;e city seems to be undergoing renovation, but this is a positive thing.
