I would not prioritize St. Mary's Dome Cathedral, simply because it does not offer much regarding both exteriors and interiors. We spent most of the time walking through and exploring the cloisters - nice place to "charge your batteries". That itself does not make it...More

This Cathedral is located in the old town. It is beautifully maintained and has some wonderful exhibits.

St. Mary's Dome cathedral is right in the middle of the old town, very well maintained and looks just beautiful. it's one of the main icons of Riga is definitely worth the visit.

We spent around 90 minutes inside the church and the cloisters. There are lots of exhibits and most are described and explained in English, well worth a visit.

There are daily concerts allowing you to hear the beautiful sound of this Church' organ. The Cloister is pleasant and contains some artifacts. Interior of the Church fairly plain

Big party are under construction or temperary closed. Still You have to pay and no warning is given. Unfriendly lady at the kassa.

We went here to seek for history and museum side of the building. There were lots to see and kids were also liking the history part of it. Ticket cost few euros,children under 10 were free.

Worthy of your time. Quite photogenic..the history, art, restoration of war damage and original parts, including glorious stained glass windows. A most elaborate pulpit, and a fine organ. Too many canon for a Cathedral really??! Photos below save several 1,000 words!

No. They just appreciate your attendance. Obviously short shorts would be seen as inappropriate but other than that, no dress code
