Beautiful church, dedicated to St. Gertrude - patron saint of travelers. The architecture is impressive, the inside is quite austere. I guess a real traveler should pay a visit :-)

There is a board with some history about the church in the entrance hall. It is quiet old with wooden floor and they need support for renovation. So go in and donate some money to support this nice church.

I did not go inside, but it was very beautiful from the outside. It was not a must see for my part. But i came over it, and it was very beautiful😊

Great church, near the freedom monument and the esplanade. Definitely worth a peek. There is no entrance fee

I love that this church is located not in the Old City. It is wonderful how streets crosses the church. The whole quarter is beutiful and it is interesting how different architecture styles merges next to the church.

Not so near the city center, but yet worth the walk. Beautiful, amazing building, tucked in the small street. Building next to it has glass facade, so it is really nice for taking photos :)

While we were at the church the organ was playing so the atmosphere was unusual and authentic . Admission was free but you can donate to the restoration of the organ.

The pilars look like curtains. The church itself is sober but has coulouful windows. Not special, but worth a visit if you are. nearby.
