Nice place to visit and to see unique nature. Sand dunes with nice plants, Curonian Lagoon on one side and forest on other. Take a few hours walk and you will see a different view than from the main point at Sundial.

The dunes are worth a look as this is an unusual landscape and also offers a peek at Kaliningrad. The reforestation effort has reclaimed much of the original dunes expanse, but what is left is still impressive. Best for those who enjoy hiking as there...More

Really nice cycle / walk from Nida. We stayed overnight in Nida and then went to the dunes early morning before cycling to Smiltyne. Definitely the best time to go; very quiet, a nice peaceful cycle / walk through the forest to get there, and...More

Lovely walk (around 1km) up to the end of the dunes overlooking the sea, offering stunning views once there. Highly recommend.

At any time of the day. There is a trail to reach the dunes. From the village, it takes around 30 min. Definitely worth it! Enjoy the scenic views!
