You have to go and experience the scale of this place. The tour guide was top class and funny. He informed us that you only get to see 1% of the mine which just blows your mind when you actually see the scale of what...More

As previous reviews have stated, this tour (we used Discovercracow.com) takes around 2hrs and does involve a 3 - 4km walk and 200 steps, descending to a depth of 160metres. Our guide Evelinia was extremely efficient and knowledgeable with a good sense of humour and...More

We went here after looking at a few reviews mentioning wonderful underground cathedrals and lakes. Despite having a prebooked tour we had to wait outside for ages in the rain and it started late, not the end of the world. The headsets do lose audio...More

Interesting tour of the mine, carvings, statues, caverns. Good blend of history, how the mine operated, and other legends & tales. Couple tips: felt warmer than 60 degrees, so no need for heavy layers. There is a lot of walking and stairs. Starts with 54...More

If you wish to take photos while visiting the mine, you have to pay the permit for it. It costs 10 Polish Złoty. My advice in the case you are planing to visit this place is please book your tour before you go. We did...More

Visited with SeeKrakow tours but it was one of the Mine’s own guides who took us around on the 2-3hr tour. Groups were small so didn’t feel rushed or crowded and had plenty opportunities for photos etc. It’s an interesting tour (which felt like a...More

My husband and I booked this tour with a group and a guide (from the mine) but unfortunately my husband's claustrophobia got the better of him and he needed to escape before even reaching the bottom. I think he would have really struggled in some...More

Be prepared for almost 400 steps down a wooden staircase to start your visit, with more to follow, but it's certainly worth the effort. And the good news is that you get back to the surface by lift. So may interesting chambers and carvings, linked...More

Who knew this would be such an interesting place? Really unbelievable and impressive salt sculptures - transparent because they're made from salt, as the guide showed us with a flashlight. Awesome underground church - second largest in the world. Warning: unless you book the handicapped...More

This fantastic adventure began on high hopes. But soon after the tour began, I descended over 700 steps. Quite a workout with no forewarning. The tour was absolutely beautiful, but beware of all the steps; both climbing and descending. It turned out to be more...More

There is an elevator for getting back up but there are stairs everywhere and think the lift only gets you to certain areas. The guide does say not suitable for disabled and those with mobility issues but suggest you email... More

Yes as long as they aren't toddlers, a lot of steps to go down but what you see is worth it, there is a cafe at the end of tour, you get a 10/15 min break during the tour where you can get snacks but probably best to wait... More
