Views and a nice dialogue from the guide. Took about 20 minutes for the whole show. Great stop and interesting way to look at and hear about Tavira. Well worth the 4 euros.

Interesting 'tour'of Tavira thanks to the lens perched atop a disused water tower. Well worth the 4euro admission

15 minute slot for viewing of Tavira reflected by mirrors onto large circular board. Interesting commentary. Worth a visit if not seen camera obscura before.

Unfortunately the lift was not working when we visited but we went up the steps anyway. The young lady giving the demonstration/talk was very interesting. It was definitely worth a visit.

It was a very nice experience. I guess a British guy who was very friendly shows you the highlights from Tavira and so you get a little guided tour. The price was totally ok! I would recommend this visit :)

We really enjoyed this visit. It would be helpful to visit at the beginning of your time in Tavira to help orient yourself, plus get a little history lesson. The surrounding gardens are very lush and beautifully maintained and really add to the experience. Adult...More

The resourceful, enterprising creator of Tavira's Camera Lucida brought a historic piece of scientific equipment to an old water tower (both of which were going to be scrapped) to create a marvelous display of Tavira. The cool darkness of the display room offers a blessed...More
