It was worth the 1/2 hour wait for this cute little train tour that takes you all around Tavira. It is comfortable and has lots of photo opportunities. Full tour takes about one hour and drops you back at your hotel where you started. Only...More

Enjoyable ride around the town - disappointed that commentary wasn't working but it saved us climbing the steps to the castle - if you have a bad back, the cobbles are a touch hard to take

Took our grandchildren on the train and although a lot of the ride was on cobble stones it was nice to go down the narrow streets and onto the area where salt is produced. Audio in different languages so when it came to English it...More

Went prepared for uncomfortable ride but was not as bad as reported. Great fun weaving in and out some narrow lanes. Price is now €5 for adults but still worth it. Train stops for 10 mins at castle to allow you time to enjoy gardens,...More

A bone shaking, back braking and boring 30 minute trip around the salt flats followed by a 15 minute stop at the castle which is a 10 minute walk from the start and end point.

We got on the small train at the bridge, paid the ticket money and the driver gave us a cloth to wipe the rain water from the seats but unfortunately did not roll down the plastic windows to protect us from the rain. The rain...More

It's really good fun - beware if you have a bad back as there are lots of ''cobbled " streets and it is bumpy in places - for 4 euros its great value and a lovely way to take in the sights of Tavira -...More

Yes, quite bumpy and it seemed to go down quite a few uninteresting roads. (OK - so perhaps that was necessary to get to all the interesting bits.) The multi-lingual narration seemed to be a bit light on the English version but it did sound...More
