Just awesome - had to be seen to be believed. Great from a distance but also worth walking up to, you can climb up and stand beneath the falls and get a great view of Lauterbrunnen. If you're looking for somewhere to stay or eat...More

Awe inspiring waterfall that you can see from the village or park up (at the car park by the church) to take a closer look. You can access the steps to look 'behind' the waterfall. It's steep with lots of stairs and quite tiring... but...More

Came here on a day when it had been raining. The stairs leading up to the waterfall were wet and slippery. This didn't stop us from reaching the top to soak up the views of beautiful Lauterbrunnen. A must see when in Lauterbrunnen.

This wasn't particularly spectacular but it was lovely to go to sleep with the sound of falling water. You could actually see it from miles around. You could walk up so far and go under it but we didn't get round to doing that.

A very pretty waterfall that dominates the southern end of Lauterbrunnen. I recommend taking a stroll down to it (along Pfrundmatte) and into the valley beyond.

My daughter spotted the trail head and we headed up. There are hiking poles you can borrow (which I recommend). It's a fairly steep climb, but at the end, after passing through a tunnel, you begin ascending stairs cut into the cliff wall that take...More

If you stay in Lauterbrunnen, you would be able to enjoy good views of this waterfall. However, we didn't go near it - some other tourists told me it was not worth it. We stayed at Hotel Staubbach with a good view of this waterfall...More

II would park in the village or at the train station and walk...... the walk up to go behind the falls is steep and really not worth it unless it is the time of year when the fall run-off in great ---- in the Spring. We... More

Everyone's responses are accurate. Trummelbach Falls, the other falls attraction in lauterbrunnen, is about a 30 minute walk from town and there's a bus that goes there as well.
