With over 150,000 visitors a year, FAC is one of WA’s most dynamic multi-arts organisations, offering a rich cultural program of exhibitions, residencies, art courses, music and events on a historic site. FAC is an ambitious organisation that celebrates quality and the high standard of our programming is recognised on both a national and international level. Thankfully it was a stop on the free buses around Fremantle as in August 2017 and the art exhibition was just plain weird. The courtyard was pretty and the toilets very clean. However it would be great to be able to explore the historic building...More

The Fremantle Arts centre is Located at Finnery street in a heritage building and nice grounds. At display are modern and old art exhibitions. A shop and cafe are also available.

This museum is easily accessed by a stop on the free CAT route. It used to be an asylum centre before closing down, avoiding demolition and now houses some interesting works of arts and exhibits. Along side is a cafe which produces some excellent meals...More

I spent the day in Fremantle eating, listening to music and shopping. I met some amazing artists and purchased some beautiful aboriginal art. It was definitely a tourist area but still quite lovely.
