Sail with dolphins in the crater of an extinct volcano on New Zealand’s oldest gaffed rigged ketch, the Fox II. Relax and soak up the sun, sea and hills or take part as one of the crew. See Hector dolphins, New Zealand fur seals, blue and yellow-eyed penguins, albatross and other sea birds. You will be surrounded by giant volcanic sea cliffs, caves and rock formations along the journey. A guaranteed highlight of you trip, that you will remember for the rest of your life.

If you are sick of the standard cruise on a typical power boat opt for the Fox. You will get great views of the harbour, most likely see dolphins, and enjoy sailing on a ship.

We had the most outstanding day out at sea. We saw dolphins jump, seals swirl, and the almighty albatross soar!! I will not soon forget my time aboard the Fox II. Many thanks to Captain Roy for his incredible commentary and peaceful music.

We booked our trip on Fox II on our Celebrity Cruise ship. We took the tender from our ship to the pier and picked up the Fox II there.
