St Patricks is a lovely church on well kept grounds with glorious views over Akaroa Harbour. Very nice stained glass windows but the church is starting to show some deteriation and is in need of restoration works. Recommend a visit when in Akaroa.

It's worth a visit if you're already in town, it's very small and will only take about 15 minutes to see. The graveyard (on a separate site) is a much more interesting spot.

Such a tastefully preserved historic wooden church with its original timbers and cute architecture provides an oasis for the weary traveller and a place of worship for the local vibrant catholic community that use this church regularly.

A small church with lots of character and history. Worth a visit and feel free to attend a Sunday mass. Probably needs some help with a donation for some upkeep.

Found this on our walk around the village, it's very quaint but still very much in use. A lovely place for quiet reflection

Again another welcoming church inviting us to come inside. Felt warm and comfortable and peaceful. How I wish all churches as beautiful as yours invited us to visit. Worth a look for the architecture and position or simply to feel wanted.

I had been in this church a year earlier and was so pleased when we came back to a wedding held here. Just beautiful and the sun just keeps on shining
