Take and hour or two to visit Jendy and Chris, their two cocker spaniels and Charlie the cat in this beautiful garden that's full of interesting twists and turns, some brilliant sculpture and a marvelous collection of trees, shrubs and perennials. You'll be fascinated. We certainly were.…

A very warm welcome, then we were given a map of the grounds with suggestions on how to go round them. We loved the gardens - so much to see, with so much variety; we appreciated the native bush and we were amused to be mobbed by fantails at one point. The shop is well worth a look around - some great things can be found there.…

When in Akaroa and have visitors it is a nice drive around the bay to visit the other side of the beautiful harbour,no better place to visit,having said that there are also beautiful wineries in the area. With making a day of it ,take a picnic

We visited the garden during February, and were delighted and amazed by the lovely design, the interesting and innovative plantings, and the whole delightful setting. During our 4 trips to New Zealand we have visited over 100 gardens and Jendy's garden is up there, close to the top of the list. As well as a myriad of views and secret 'rooms' we were surprised and delighted to find, about halfway round, a shaded dell with a hammock, a table, some chairs, and a pitcher of home made lemonade and a dish of home grown walnuts. An ideal break, and some beautiful memories.…
