Heaps for all to do from bathing ing the sun, tramping, feeding ears and stingrays or the endangered birds they are breeding. I even experienced a zip line!! Good food also and nicely appointed rooms.

Lochmara lodge was a welcome rest day for us on our Queen Charlotte Track walk. Great quirky artwork and gardens. The room we had was lovely. The meals were exquisite. We loved our time here and highly recommend it.

The Lochmara lodge is along the Queen Charlotte Track but also a relatively short water taxi ride from Picton. The lodge had a lot of interesting art on the grounds, birds, animals but the highlight was the lovely beach and dining room and lounge.
