Recently we visited Picton on a Celebrity Solstice cruise ship. The shuttle bus dropped us off in town and you follow the painted line along the footpath which takes you into the centre of town and the Picton foreshore. On disembarkation of the ship at...More

This is a very nice place, geared around visitors to the area, with boardwalks and picturesque waters. We come here for a quick visit every time we’re on a cruise that stops at Picton. It’s very nice also that as we disembark the cruise ship...More

Beautiful place to enjoy a quiet moment and a coffee or meal. Great shopping too, we got some great tee shirts for our grandsons. Pity many people went back to the cruise ship and missed a gem.

Must admit we had perfect weather so the sound and town looked its best but it really is a special place. Overpriced cafes though I have to say.

We came by ferry to Picton, using our hours on the Intercity line consider the other line, wonderful passage, harbour and dock right there in town, big cruise ships have to go to the cruise port which is a bus ride away.

Great little Promenade to walk and take in the very picturesque views of the water, with suitable amount of Palm trees. Weather was also akin to the Mediterranean.
