We only walked a part of the track from Picton to Waikawa Bay. The views are spectacular. The whole track is over 70 km long.

A great drive through some very windy mountain roads with spectacular scenery. Some lovely bays with great beaches where you can stop and completely relax.

Take a water taxi to Ship Cove, walk to Furneaux Lodge and be fetched by the water taxi, complete with accompanying dolphins 6hours later. A fairly tough hike to begin with but worth every puff. Fabulous.

This can be done as a day trip or you can walk the entire trail. We saw many groups of senior citizens walking the trail so don't be afraid.
