Gio was an amazing tour guide. My wife and I took a walking tour of Trinidad with Gio — he is the absolute best. He is so knowledgeable and clearly loves the city and the country. It shows in how he talks openly about the history of Trinidad and Cuba and it’s current climate. He was flexible and catered the tour to what we were interested in (wanted to stop by the St. Francis convent first). His English is near-perfect and gave us great recommendations throughout the city. My highest recommendation goes to Gio!

Giovanni Guerra is your best choice for guide when you are in Trinidad. He will show you everything that you need to see. He knows very well what is interesting for the tourists and he can make you feel like a VIP.

Gio is great. We did a tour with him to Topes and also had a walking tour around town. He also helped us set up a percussion class, which was super fun. He has a website that you can find with a simple websearch.
He also was able to help us find a guy who could exchange dollars at an excellent rate (substantially better than many other offers we got).
He is also a super interesting guy with an interesting life story. Plan on spending some time with him and get to know him.

This July we did the tour in Trinidad with Gio.
He is amazing!!
Initally the tour lasts 2hours and a half aprox but we spent much more time because of his passion to explain everything releated with his city! He helped us with all of our doubts and showing the best places and storytelling some curious legends of Trinidad!
We absolutely recommend him and his tour! You'll enjoy it, for sure!!

We had a tour with Gio earlier in August and it was time so well spent! Passionate about Cuban history and culture, he helped us to see the city through the eyes of a local. I’d definitely recommend using Gio’s services to any travellers - in him you will also find a fun companion for a few hours ;)

Gio was an absolutely amazing tour guide! Being with him was like hanging out with a friend. He was so engaging sharing interesting historical facts, showing views and perspectives of the town as only he can, intertwined with interesting stories about the people of Cuba including fun facts about himself and his family. My favorite part of the tour was when we stopped at a local restaurant for what’s known as Cuba’s oldest cocktail, the Canchanchara. It was there that during a conversation about “success” that he dropped this brilliant gem:
“Some people are so poor that the only thing they have is money.” (Deep, huh?)
Great tour, personalized experience and wise quotes! I would highly recommend the “Gio experience” if visiting Trinidad!

Giovanni's tour was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Trinidad and Cuba itself and provided a very informative and fascinating tour. Giovanni made sure to give us plenty of recommendations of places to eat and activities to do in and around Trinidad in addition to the tour. I cannot recommend this walking tour enough if you're after a fun and interesting few hours in Trinidad! Thanks Giovanni!

Hi - I am visiting Trinidad with two friends in June and looking for a tour. We like doing activities e.g. I saw hiking, waterfalls, ziplining. We would like to see all the sites and get great views of Trinidad.
