We walked up to the plaza through a lot of run-down housing, a lot of which is being rebuilt with European money. Walking down to the Plaza itself, and seeing it open up in front of you is simply wonderful. We saw the City record...More

Perfect, postcard quality. Beautiful stroll through the city centre. Close to Casa de la Musica. Beautiful architecture.

Please visit the above the most stunning architecture felt like I had gone back in time, quite a few museums all within walking distance and not too expensive entry fee.

I loved the classic square, it is beautiful colonial city. The city is great with many nice AirBnB near the square. Many tours available to see the countryside. GREAT music at night.

Classic square at Trinidad and the best in Cuba.. Too quite and ancient like the old styles.. We stay there one day.

A really good preserved piece of history. A must see when visiting Trinidad. Just take the time to inhale the history.

Plaza Mayor is at the top of the hill surrounded by buildings with spectacular architectural design, church and entertainment. At night their is music nearby and it's the only WIFI spot in historic Trinidad. A lot of people on their phones.

Trust the restaurant touts: we followed two to find the best, but most hidden away restaurants. It's also a good place to just sit, listen to the unavoidable live music, and watch people coming and going
