The Plaza Mayor is Trinidad is so tropical and laid-back compared to similar town centres in Santa Clara and Havana. The palm tree and flora dominate the square and walking through, you'll find there's always something going on... although its always pretty quiet. One day,...More

It seems like the whole town is here every evening. Attracted by the relatively good WiFi signal and a verity of restaurants and live music you will have fun into the late hours of the night.

I liked this place. It was hot of course, but lots of shade. Lots of old cars to look at, lots of little shops - and restaurants as well. I like to people watch and there was lots of opportunity for that as well.

Beautiful colorful city, very well preserved (at cuban standards) but it's so hot and humid! Be aware and protect yourself. Go to the city's museum and climb to the rooftop to get a great view of the city.

Main Trinidad square, which can't miss on your journey through the town. Dominant place is the cathedral open for visits. Live music plays on the adjacent stairs during the evening.

Trinidad is a small town and you will definitely pass Plaza Mayor, as most good restaurants, music places, shops are in the neighbouring streets as well as the entrance of Casa de la Musica. Don't miss it.

Very pretty square. Saw it on a day trip to Trinidad and on a walking tour. Also managed to view it from the tower of the museum down the road. Beautiful
