The church and the park in the front are beautiful from a design perspective as well as the vegetation well maintained. Simply beautiful!

The big museum romantico was closed for renovations when we were there but we enjoyed the views over the colonial style buildings. The whole area is cobble-stoned so walking can be tricky.

Go have a drink on stairs next to the plaza in the early evening. During our 3 nights stay we drank our cocktails every night on the stairs. The bar of Casa de la Musica is excellent.

Make sure you take the chance to walk around and through this lovely plaza. There's little shade so be prepared if you're there mid-day.
