Very gorgeous views of several volcanos and the mountains across the bay Much wildlife abound, eagles are plentiful and seals and sea otters are common Nice rec areas

This is a very quit spot int the evening and gives you some great views. If you are lucky watch the eagles close to the parking lot.

Many will just pass Anchor Point on their way to homer, but it is definitely worth a stop. You have direct beach access with your car, and assuming you have a 4 wheel drive you can access the beach and watch bold eagles. Actually many...More
