Beautiful drive through rock covered passes, lots of places to pull in and admire the view. Places along the way to get out and walk on the rocks, great photo opportunitys everywhere. Further up the road, shops and restaurants well worth a visit

We targeted Mount Lemmon as a destination day trip. We're so glad we did. Our goal was simple -- drive to the top of the mountain, stop along the way to admire the vistas, have lunch at the top, and head down. Mt. Lemmon is...More

We drove up Mt. Lemmon for a day hike on the Lemmon Rock Lookout Trail. Unfortunately the road was closed beyond the ski area, so we hiked the Butterfly Trail instead. For an early February hike, this was a great spot to go. It took...More

We drove up the mountain to do some birding, photography and geocaching and had success on all three. As we climbed up to 8000 feet in elevation, the temperatures dropped by 30 degrees and the flora changed continuously as we rose in elevation. Snow at...More

If you happen to visit Tucson when it is hot, you don't have to stay in the heat. Just head up to the height of Mount Lemmon to where you are comfortable, surrounded by Pine trees, and enjoy the different eco-system.

Atomosphere and food was excellent. Very popular place but not real large so patience is needed to be served but it is worth the wait.

30 degrees cooler than Tucson. Pleasant ride up the mountain. 45 minutes drive up. Two restaurants and numerous hiking trails. Visit the ski lift in the off season for a scenic ride up the mountain.

It is not as easy to get around in a wheelchair. There is access provided at the majority of shops. You have to use the street sometimes due to poor sidewalks or none at all

Yes! Most of the time. There is a sign at the bottom of the mountain that will let you know before you go up the hill.

When we first moved here we all thought that it was a scary drive. After you have gone up it a couple of times it's pretty cool.
