Amtrak is the best. I usually travel business class. The porters are always there to help with luggage getting on and off. They are friendly and work hard.

San Diego to Santa Barbara, this is the most peaceful and enjoyable ride , no traffic to deal with. Enjoy rideshare when arriving or just go for a walk. Lots to see at all stops.

Hi Jean, no, normally you do not need to change trains. There are 5 trains each day that travel from Ventura down to San Diego. You will love the ocean views!
