This is a good free place to stay and it's right off of Interstate 70. There are some developed campgrounds as well as some dispersed sites. There are lots of different hiking trails to wander off on and a trail with no shade that leads...More

Though we had a guide to explain what past activity took place here and to know what to look for. But If I had been on my own, the displays would have been helpful but a little bit underwhelming. Go to the dinosaur museum in...More

This is a great park for families who want to camp out or ride on some trails. A buddy and I met up in Grand Junction and didn't want to have to pay for a hotel, so we brought a tent and camped out here....More

"Trail Through Time" hike. Saw a few dinosaur bones & couple fossils after walking - then hiking - then climbing - then walking back down to the beginning. We thought we were going to see a lot lot more than we did, especially after all...More
