This is a beautiful beach just north of Blind Pass...between Sanibel and Captiva Islands in SW Florida. We arrived around mid-day and the parking lot was full except for one space; Christmas week is in full swing and Season hasn't started so this was considered by most standards to be a quiet day. The traffic was very minimal - the... More

This beach was recommended by a family at our hotel. Current was kind of crazy! Lots of shells but most were broken, didnt find any I could really take home. But still had fun looking! The water was chilly when we went but we waded in for a bit to look for shells. Parking was $4/hour

This beach, just over on Captiva from Sanibel, was a nice place for a beach stroll. Not crowded when we arrived, but by the time we left it was. Many came here to watch the sunset on the water. Parking is limited. There are public restrooms here. Some shells on beach, but not infinite by any means (as I saw... More

Beautiful clear water and you have the chance to view lots of Dolphins! The sunset over the ocean is incredible as well!

This beach is just over the bridge attaching Captiva to Sanibel. Parking here is the normal $4 per hour. It's a great beach to catch a sunset. Bathroom facilities are pretty decent and fairly clean for a beach. There are some large rocks bordering the beach for some interesting photos. Fairly quiet beach. Bring a chair and enjoy!

We came to this beach for the sole purpose of catching an amazing sunset. We were not disappointed. It really is a beautiful beach with an amazing view. There is very limited parking but we got lucky and squeezed right in. The restroom facilities are top notch for a public beach. It's also a dog friendly beach so there are... More

My wife and I traveled to Turner Beach last Tuesday for a morning of shell hunting and fun on the beach. We had stopped there once before and had to wait on a parking spot so we left fairly early (9:30ish) in the morning. We arrived around 10 am and pulled right into a parking spot. The parking fee is... More

Beach access from the road was easy but the current was strange since there was a little inlet where the highway traffic went over a bridge which is where we entered the parking lot. Parking was $6. for the first hour or two..all of the beaches had pay for parking. The restrooms were located on the other side of the... More

We went here looking for Blind Pass beach and found out it's basically one in the same. The Sanibel side is Blind Pass, Captiva side is Turner beach. There is a little jetty that keeps the water nice and calm. It's a short walk from the parking, plenty of space for chairs and umbrellas. Never super crowded because there is... More

I don't know what causes the broken shells, but I saw more of them here than at the other beaches. It is still a nice beach but be careful if you're walking barefooted. Parking is still $4 an hour.
