Its Mesmerizing !!!

Great place to be in the midst of Natures beauty. Also the most beautiful time of the year to visit is during fall. Amazing colors.

The lake runs about 100 miles in the upper peninsula (Michigan). It's very very pretty. We went there last week (first weekend of September 2015) and the water was so cold already. There are so many beautiful stones on the lake shore. The water is very very clear and clean (that's important for me). I love it. I just love... More

The power and scope of this body of water has an affect on you. Good public access in many spots especially Little Girl Point just north of Ironwood Michigan. Just sit and take it in or comb the shores for a special rock.

Lake Superior is wonderful. Even on cold windy days, it was such a beautiful site. You are on the Keweenaw peninsula, so you are always close to a beach.

Lake Superior has many attractions...from canoeing to exploring caves...you can lay on many different beaches and feel like you are at the ocean...rock and driftwood, agate and petrosky to search for and find. You can take excusions from many sites to Islands or just touring the Pictured Rocks or Madelaine Island...many Lighthouses of all different sorts. Just a spectacular area... More

The road between Duluth Minnesota and the US/Canadian boarder is well paved and an enjoyable trip offering good views and vistas of Lake Superior. There are many scenic spots to pull off the road for picture taking.
