Drove over the Beartooth Pass in late August from Red Lodge to Yellowstone. Loved every minute and almost turned around to drive back over! My sis and I were a little hesitant since we're from Florida and not accustomed to mountain driving but it was...More

A well worth while day trip out the northeast gate from Yellowstone National Park headed up into Montana. This was a beautiful pass with lakes and overlooks and varying scenery. We would definitely recommend this road trip.

Twisting and turning up and down the switch backs. This road has great views at every turn. We stopped at several pull-offs and wondered around. When we reached the pass, we got out and climbed a small escarpment and the views got even better. We...More

This was a highlight of our road trip! Part of the road was closed - we went as far as we could go! The view was incredible! A little scary because of the winding road and elevation. But the view was breathtaking!

This drive was incredible, as someone from Colorado, I am very familiar with mountain passes, but this one was definitely worth the detour! We came up from Cody along the Dead Indian Pass and then took the Beartooth Hwy north until we reached the Beartooth...More
