For many years....I have wanted to attend the August Crow Nation Fair and Rodeo. Why you ask? First it is an experience which can hardly be described! It in a small way to experience the history of Native peoples! Being Anglo, I have read a bit of information on the history of the west in Montana. After once being told... More

Learned a great deal and highly recommend this visit to all age categories. A Park ranger gives a detailed description of the Battle.... More

Reaching its 97th year as I looked around the area there have been very little improvements to the rodeo grounds or where the Pow Wow is located. The Crow tribe has the resources but not apparently the will to improve the experience. The weekend Pow Wow and rodeo if improved... More

The Crow reservation is not touched at all by tourism, but filled with Native culture. The Rodeo and Crow Fair are worth a long drive for.

It was great to see the vivid costumes and the dances which had been passed down over the generations. As a white English person, I felt... More

Been to many casinos.. This one is strange. Its old and dirty and run down. You cant even get a beverage here the staff have to get it for you. ( I guess they had a probably with people coming in and getting beverages out of the machine off the street) Machines don't really pay and some don't even work... More

Outside of Billings Montana about a hour south or so you will find the Crow Indian reservation where you can watch the reinactment of Crusters Last stand. You can also drive through where the fight acutally happened. History is real and great adventure for young and old alike. I took my kids they loved walking and driving around seeing the... More
