This is an easy walking area with diverse habitats. I would take time by the open field looking for ground birds and raptors. Go past the farm pond. Then, either fork off to the right to go all the way down to Osprey Point, or...More

My husband & I took Osprey Point trail; an easy, 0.8 mile, one-way trek through fields & woodlands, ending at an observation deck overlooking beautiful Block Island Sound! There were benches & a telescope there for enjoying the pond & ocean views. After relaxing there...More

Well worth a visit for anyone and likely a great spot for kids as the trails are all short to medium length. As one reviewer noted it can definitely get buggy - particularly in the woodland areas- so be sure to apply big repellant; husband...More

Numerous trails lead through a variety of habitats - grassland, forest, shrub, salt pond and shore. Lots of birds to find and ID.

We enjoyed the nature trails at Trustom Pond better than Ninigret. Both are National Wildlife Refuges but Trustom had much more waterfowl and bird activity. We saw 2 nests (one was osprey).

This is a wonderful nature reserve. The trails are very easy to walk and there are viewing decks strategically located. You can see various birds, waterfowls, owls, deers etc. I've been here during summer and winter and it's breathtaking every time.

We stopped by here and walked the trails, which are not overly long and easy to walk. We had some nice views and changing vistas and there are a couple of decks to observe the waterfowl, which we really enjoyed. This is a well done...More
