Cruising on the Enchantment of the Seas! Started out with a load of fog and left the port nearly 8 hours late because of it. But we are undaunted and the beauty of the Gulf is certainly worth it!

Drove an hour out of the way to stand in the Gulf Of Mexico

After spending 7 nights in New Orleans we were headed to our next stop, Memphis. Steve asked if I wanted to see the Gulf of Mexico. I said sure! We drove an hour out our way to Gulfport, Mississippi. We ended up on a beach with 2 young ladies and a dog. We talked with them a little bit and stepped out into the ocean. Where we were standing wasn't deep. We did get to walk out a ways. I almost fell with my phone. The water was crystal clear and just the right amount of chill for April. I would like to go back when we have more time to explore the area more.
