Grew up in the area, Lake Texoma is great because there’s so much to do. There are great hiking trails, several islands with clean beaches, good fishing and camping spots.

What a great little get away. The sunset and sunrise views from the kasita are phenomenal to say the least. This is a perfect romantic setting when you have the resort to yourself. Enjoy a stay and a nice evening fire you wont be disappointed!

While you might get a million dollar view pitch right on the water the bathrooms at this site were unusable, unsanitary, disgusting. Literally a tin can behind a S-shaped metal wall - no door. The shower block again unsanitary, so dirty, filth all over, a...More

A toward the lake today and everywhere I noticed chunks upon chunks upon chunks of styrofoam lining the shores. These pieces range from larger than ice chests to marble-sized. I can't imagine all this is still leftover from the flood but it just looks terrible....More

Drove over the lake tonight at sunset and it was really lovely! We were driving on 377 and there was not much development around the lake. Look forward to coming back and getting in the lake!

We stayed at Mills Creek Resort & Marina and really enjoyed it. Penni, the office rep was so friendly and accommodating. The cabins down by the lake were more like log cabin homes with all the accommodations of home, other than no pets allowed inside....More

We live near the lake and love it! We have a boat slip at Grandpappy and spend most of our free time on the lake. People are very friendly.

The lake was a little high due to some recent flooding but was still a beautiful sight. The powerhouse was an awesome site as well. I haven't seen that much water being discharged in years from the lake. Great fishing and great camping areas. Great...More

This lake is about like average. There are fun things to do. There are some good restaurants and swimming areas, but the easiest once to access are small. They do have camping, but I live close enough I don't have too.
