Snow Canyon is just north of St. George, Ut. It was a must do during our trip, but I was disappointed Since my husband and I are not hikers, we only experience a place from the car. While the park is beautiful, it is also...More

I stopped at the overlook by turning left from the highway. That is the best thing to do. There is plenty of rock from the former lava to see. Once inside the park I walked from the roadway to Jenny's Canyon. The ground is sand...More

The park is very close to St. George. The red petrified sand dunes and black lava rocks make it perfect for pictures.

An excellent place to take in some incredible scenery close to St. George. One of the nicest state parks I've ever seen.

Early on a weekday morning, this park was ours to explore. So many varied vistas, colors and rock formations. Too many photos but I couldn't help myself. Loved petrified dunes and Jenny's garden slot canyon trail. Best state park imaginable!

Here is a beautiful area for sightseeing, photo taking, learning about nature and seeing Pioneer relics. One of nature's finest and most awesome places to see. Again bring your water and shade with.

Like 6 miles, it's in Ivins. Use the South entrance off of snow canyon drive.

It wasn't that long. I would say no more than a half hour, more likely less.
