The hike to the top is strenuous but there are several other hikes that go to lakes that are moderate or easy. You can also drive to the top. The day we were there was Smokey so we did not see the spectacular view. We...More

Definitely worth the trip up the mountain for the breathtaking views. You can drive, bike or hike, I drove and there was no cost. You can see both US and Canada. If you go up the tower they have plaques with everything labeled so you...More

The best views on the island are at the top of the outlook tower on the mountain. Everyone there has the same reaction when they turn the corner from the short trail from the parking lot, which is “wow”! The views are incredible and a...More

We left Rosario at about 9:00 am and drove to the top. The road is good all the way up, even through the switchbacks. At the summit you are at the highest point in the San Juan Islands and the views are spectacular, fabulous views...More

We visited last summer (2017). It is a pleasant drive to the top, or hiking is an option. There are a few places to pull over and take in the scenery. A great place to watch sunsets also. The tower building at the top was...More

The drive up to the summit of Mount Constitution (or the hike, if you have the time and legs) is well-worth the stunning views awaiting you at the top. From the base of the tower there are expansive views to the south, east, and north,...More

Drive, hike or bike...but go to see the incredible views. It is definitely worth it! Construction was going on to remodel bathrooms when we were there taking up some of the parking.

From Friday Harbor you need to take the ferry to Orcas Island - apx 13 $, the inter-island I believe it's free. When you get to Orcas, you can hitchhike, yes it is legal and safe..I did it all summer
