The hour tour is well worth the time and very informative about all the beautiful art inside of the building as well as the history of the LOC. There is so much more to the LOC than meets the eye, I wish we had more time to spend there, but I am afraid the interest level of teens peaks at... More

A quick stop and worth it to see the Gutenberg Bible and the beautiful architecture. The Jacob Riis exhibit was fascinating and it was worth the trip to see the Thomas Jefferson library recreated!

Beautiful building, gorgeous rotunda and wonderful tribute to American history. Breath taking and awe-inspiring. We looked at the fabulous early maps of the United States.

Visit the Library of Congress Jefferson building! Its amazing! Public tours are offered hourly and no reservations are required. Or there is a visitor guide that you can download and tour the building on your own. Either way, make sure you visit!

Beautiful building, there are tours every half hour. Great book store on the bottom floor by the exit. Thomas Jefferson's library is on exhibit. Had a quick walk through the exhibit on the new world and in the same location of Jefferson's library, an exhibit of a photographer's work during the early 1900s in New York.

Would love to be able to visit this library frequently - the architecture & art work as well as the homages to brilliant minds is breathtaking.

We were encouraged by our hosts in DC to go inside the library to look at the building and it was well worth it. The main hall is stunning. We enjoyed the interactive presentations that told us more about it. A really helpful man on the information desk guided us on what to look for.

While the bibles are there and may be interesting to some, the building is the key attraction. Amazing architecture.
