This museum is so full of fun information presented in a great way. The only bummer is that they don’t open until 10 am. This is a free museum and so it is usually pretty busy all day. Give yourself enough time to view everything...More

There's a reason this is probably the star of the Smithsonian - it's fun for all ages and makes you want to be an astronaut. Don't get too caught up though, there are others to see too!

2+ hours. Longer if its crowded on a weekend or summer afternoon. It can be wall to wall people when its crowded.

I believe so. Most of the museums in dc did have a room available. Some only took coats. Others took coats and bags.
