Fantastic museum. Traces air travel from the beginning to the future. Kids will love it. McDonald is the restaurant there, so unless you have kids along, make other plans.

I had heard about the popularity of this museum and it was located along our path to get to other sites. Last minute decided to go into museum. I was not disapointed.

I have wanted to visit dince it was opened. I knew all the key exhibits but it was still great to actually see things like Apollo 11 Columbia and the Flyer. The Columbia looked like it was in a temporary location and was just cordoned...More

A must visit if you are in the city. I am not generally a museum person but this was fab. Spent ages looking and wondering around. Didn't have time to check out the planetarium which was a shame

Visited with the family(adults), it's very informative but there is just too much to see and if you are not that much into space you might get bored of the long paragraphs. I loved the interactive screens and wish there where more of them.

It was AMAZING. We went on the free tour with Steve as our guide - he was brilliant and well worth the sore legs from 2 hours of free insights and information! Also - did I mention free?! Go there.

Too be honest I found it a bit dated, really needs a bit of a freshen up. It's still worth a visit but I was not blown away.

Our kids didn't like to go to the museums till we got to the National Air and Space Museum. This is most interesting and attractive place. Be ready to spend good 4-5 hours their.

If you arrive prior to start, get on list. Don't expect to walk right in and have a space available for next start time during peak season.

The only free parking is on the street, and they are hard to come by, particularly on weekends. There is underground parking, and other paid spaces nearby.
