So amazing! These are so well designed. So many to see these days. This one was very sad to see what these men went thru.

This memorial could easily be overlooked but you would seriously be missing out! How lifelike and detailed these statues are is incredible! I recall seeing it years ago as a chaperon for my daughter's field trip to Washington DC. We actually saw it at night on that trip and it's stunningly eerie ~ highly recommend that experience. In fact all the monuments are incredibly beautiful and special at night. This trip was in the daytime as that was all the time we had. I'm still glad we went. This memorial is also an easy walk from The Lincoln Memorial ( to the SW ). There is not much parking in this area but traveling at this time of year made this a lot more enjoyable as DC was void of crowds and you could find street parking.

In the day time this was an eerie display, I would like to see it at dusk or dawn. The memorial is a capture of a patrol in Korea. You can see the concern, anguish and determination on the individual soldiers faces. I closed my eyes and imagined them as a patrol passing me by. I recommend walking around the whole display, there are little nuances that come out from the different angles of view.

This memorial is open to the public. There's no need to pay to see what's free to the public. The memorial of our Korean Vets and the etched wall is beautiful.

Went to all the major monuments and war memorials in DC. We found this to be the most moving of them all. The wall of silhouettes was powerful. We paused to take it in and they spoke to us about the struggle and hardships.
