Nice but small art gallery. The paintings inside are pretty interesting.Washington dc is one of the largest cities with more museums.. many of them are free entry...Corcoran is one of these jewels to go.

Check out the listings and if there is something that appeals to you that is in a show at the Corcoran, go! It's a very nice space. Note the admission price is high in a city where many exhibits are free.

This is a celebration of American art work. With the ginormous landscapes of the great west to the desk of a struggling artist, it's just fantastic. A great place to experience the best in American art.

I have to admit that I am not an art person. But I checked this place out. Some of the things are ok. Some I don't get. The bundling itself is very cool. Enjoyed the architecture. Overall just ok.

Neat clean but in no way as fascinating as many of the other art galleries available to view. Pass if you are short on time.
