Dupont circle is one of my favorite places in DC. Vibrant, lots of good restaurants, easy metro access, lots of great shops, but I was delighted to find a sunday morning farmers market with fresh veggies and many prepared items. lots of baked good also. Go hungry and sample your way along.

Lookout on the Circle thru the windows at Starbucks. Of course you'll get good coffee, and the food such as sausage and egg muffin is only marginally better than McD's, but it's an experience to watch the traffic and Washingtonians on their way to work. Better yet, go up a ways to Kramer's Bookstore and try their backroom kitchen.

After hearing about this in movies and people saying you needed to see it, we went and had a look and was pretty disappointed. There is a statue and park in the middle of it which was pretty rundown. Not anything special. I wouldn't bother going to see it.

There's not a lot to see right on the Circle. But it's an active area with plenty of restaurants nearby, a park, some nice shops. Good area to walk around if you're looking for a place to just wander.

Good features: right at a Metro stop, variety of retaurants, shops. But it is only a very small urban park.

Always go to DuPont Circle while in D.C. It's eclectic and and assortment of good dining and interesting shops. It's on the Metro stop so take a chance and exit here . Best when weather is good so you can enjoy the walking .

Perhaps it was the 1 1/2 mile walk from our hotel, but we decided to check out DuPont Circle to see its offerings and were sorely disappointed. Don't.!! Thought we would enjoy a morning of shopping and lunch.....nope.

Cheapest thrill for the kids the whole vacation. Use the North entrance to Metro (the other side is only 170 feet).

Many restaurants in all price ranges. Convenient to the Metro. The circle has a park which is great for people watching. You will see a very diverse set of people.

The Dupony Circle is really a big roundabout with a nice park in the middle. Nice to sit there and watch the traffic and people passing by.
