This is a great monument among many great monuments in the city. You will walk right into it right off the metro station.

Beautiful fountain with plaques commemorating Naval history. The Lone Sailor statue is a great tribute to the American sailor. There is small museum and gift shop nearby. While there, got to meet vets from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.

very nice tribute memorial to the Navy. The lone sailor was striking. The fountains and historical scenes of different positions in the Navy was nice. Great place to sit and give thanks to those that served.
