We love to ice skate outdoors during winter break and were looking forward to trying out the rink at Washington Harbor, which is a fountain in the summer. I was attracted by it’s larger size than the one in the Sculpture Garden near National Archives....More

We walked to Washington harbour from the convention centre so quite a walk but on a lovely cool day it's well worth it. This was a pretty area with some nice looking restaurants that we will return to eat at. Interesting architecture on the banks...More

I loved it here. Great for a family walk, kids played in water on the way down to harbour, beautiful flowers, just a great peaceful walk. We sat and had a drink in one of the bars then went for supper at farmers fishers bakery.

We were on a guided tour which included a 45 minute boat trip on the Potomac. Not really worth the effort. As with most short boat trips you go one way down or up the river with some commentary and then turn around and come...More
