This tour sounded like such a wonderful evening. Boy was I wrong. The lack of sufficient air conditioning was just the beginning. They were completely understaffed. Couldn't get a waiter so waited in line 20 minutes for a $21 beer and awful cocktail. Then the...More

I was very disappointed with this cruise. It was my mother's birthday and this is what she wanted. We paid an additional $100 for guaranteed window sitting only to be placed directly in the sun on the hottest day of the year. The food service...More

I bought two groupons for this experience for me and my wife's 7th anniversary in an effort to do something special and different. That it was! We are normally very sea sick type people but once on the boat it was a very smoothie ride....More

I have been on boat cruises before, but the Odyssey Potomac Boat Cruise was much better than I expected. The boat is a glass enclosed flat sailing vessel, so you can see everything around you. There are plenty of viewing areas on the exterior of...More

What a wonderful lunch and with views of the monuments of our Capitol. The food and service were excellent-try the braised beef. There was live music thru the cruise, which was a nice complement, but at times it drowned out the person on the speakers identifying...More

Stay away! Total rip off! If the tide is too high you turn around and see nothing but construction and buildings. They don't tell you ahead of time so call prior to leaving.

Went with a group for the lunch cruise. Our server was Mikella, who was OUTSTANDING!! She was quick witted, pleasant, funny, accommodating.....just a ray of sunshine in a personality. The food was delicious. Started off with a small salad, and goat cheese with toast. I...More

This evening, on Father's Day, was sold as special and described as luxury. It wasn't. The staff were, at best indifferent. We had booked the luxury package at $471 for two. Probably worth the $71 of that. Droopy flower arrangement on the tables sums up...More

I feel as if I played into a scam. I paid over $500 for mediocre service. Definitely not worth it when I could have gone with the Spirit cruise for $45 and have much more fun and great value for the buck. I reserved a...More

I don't recall Odyssey specifying a tip policy. Given the outstanding service we received on our voyage, I would suggest a generous tip. That's assuming you enjoy similar service. By our choice, we tipped them well, felt it... More

I just looked at booking a cruise for my spouse, myself and teen daughter for tomorrow evening. For 3, well over $600.00. Can you explain to me what the fee of OVER $100.00 (an administrative fee) is all about. I am reading the reviews posted and there are many that are not complimentary...

I have no idea what the 'administrative fee' is all about. I don't recall what the total price we paid was, I can just tell you we thought it was worth it. The boat is lovely, perfectly designed for its purpose, offering... More
