This was nice I was very impressed. This memorial is attached to several others so you can do several at this one location. Lots of walking but at our own pace.

What a great man, it is about time that we honor him in this country. Especially in the trend of making America hate again.

I had the opportunity to visit the memorial on Dr. Martin Luther King Day while in DC. It was beautiful and definitely speaks to you. The details on the monument are wonderfully done and it really captures the fact that we are a work in progress and have more work to do. I absolutely love the fact that he faces... More

Was in Washington for a week last year and even though it was business trip we had some free time too and made good use of it seeing the sites and museums. Witnessing the memorials of the different events and figures was a great experience

One of several memorials in town but a bit off the beaten path. A must see for the way it's constructed, the inspiration, and the history.

I went to the memorial and it is very nice and have a lot of history behind it and it's almost like you was there during the time that he was alive. It's very emotional to stand there and look at the statue and think of how I was able to see this in my life time. it's a must see.

Be prepared to walk from the nearest parking area. This outdoor memorial is lovely. Take your time and stroll around and read the many quotes. U.S. Park Service personnel are available for Q&A. A visit to this memorial is a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a fitting tribute to a great man!

This memorial is underrated. On a beautiful day, this place is majestic. Reading Dr King's powerful quotes while standing under the towering statute. Words can not explain the emotions.

It is impressive from afar but truly magnificent to walk through and see from various angles. Also take the time to read the quotes. A very powerful and unique American experience.
