Pretty cool place.

One of the louder places around the park with lots of people wanting a picture with the large statue of MLK but a nice tribute none the less. Also very easy to walk to.

We happened upon this Memorial after dark and it was so much more powerful to see in the dark. The lighting angles showed this man larger than life and such a powerful force in our history.

I have no idea why there has been negative press on this memorial, it was done quite nicely. The statue of MLK himself is great and symbolic. There are a total of about 14 quotes, take the time to read and ponder.

Beautifully designed memorial, free to visit. I loved the quotes on the walls. Recommend going with a guide to understand the design choices. Completely open, so go when the weather is good.

awesome👍🏻 The surrounding area is beautiful and serene. The monument is simple and a quiet tribute to a peaceful leader.

Wonderful memorial to a legacy that is alignment with the freedom of speech and the pursuit of happiness that America stands for. This is a good place to stroll through and reflect. Very inspiring and should be shared with more young people for educational trips.

One of the newest memorials in the area this is well worth the visit. Travel from the Second World War Memorial towards the Korean Memorial and it is on your left across the road. Spacious with quotes inscribed into the walls.

Visiting DC is all about seeing the memorials. Martin Luther King, being one of the greatest people that ever lived, obviously deserves a visit. And it is a humbling experience indeed.

The memorial is awe inspiring with a very nice location overlooking the tidal basin. However, the statue itself seems disappointing in that Dr.King is depicted as very stern and emotionless.
