I found this little museum when I saw signs for it while walking near Dupont Circle. While small, it is well-curated with interactive exhibits. You can view photos and see artifacts from a number of conflicts. Appropriate for families with older children.

This is a small museum, but contains some interesting artifacts from the Revolutionary War and beyond. Although it tries to focus on Jewish participation in the military, many exhibits are more about the wars themselves. Still, if this is your interest, I would go. Free....More
