Absolute must to stop by for a drink and check out the decor. Bartenders are more than happy to share history and legends. If you like history, walk down Peacock Alley on your way out and check out their display (almost all the way at the end)- they have some great pictures of the hotel during various eras.

We were travelling here from NYC and wanted to check out Round Robin for history and cocktails. The history, atmosphere and service were great but the cocktails really let the place down. We run a cocktail bar so our standards are high but if you are looking for great cocktails save your money and head to Barmini. Instead go here... More

The architecture is gorgeous including ornamental hand carved wood and marble pillars. It's a great environment for an afternoon cocktail and the mint julep is splendid.

... Or some bourbon if you'd rather. Known for its mint julep since the days of Henry Clay and where luminaries have gathered, today the spot still has a nice ambience, is conversational with the round bar area and some table seating along the windows. There's a snack mix and afternoon/evening menu of bar bites and desserts. You can enter... More

Historical round bar located in Willard Intercontinental Hotel located steps from White House. The history and people that have spent time in this bar is impressive. It's small but great spot for a quick cocktail or two.

I have been visiting the Round Robin for about 35 years. It is may favorite bar in Washington. Bartenders know their drinks, the bar is well stocked and the atmosphere is unsurpassed. The wheels of government could not turn without this place! The public officials I have seen in the Round Robin would fill a book. When I stay at... More

This is a Washington institution. Drinks and food are generally good albeit pricey. Service can be slow and not always super friendly. Overall worth a visit, the bar itself is quite beautiful.

Jim Hewes has been serving up drinks at the Round Robin Bar for 30 years. He concocts memorable cocktails, provides hospitality and, as the best barkeeps do, is a great storyteller. The room is small, with a round bar, all dark wood and rich leather. Very comfortable barstools & a pleasant couple from Alabama sitting next to us enhanced the... More

The Round Robin bar is located in The Willard Hotel, It is quite small and almost always packed when I have been there. The history of the Willard Hotel is quite fascinating and the Bar keep always has a lot of knowledge about it. Worth going for at least one drink to say you did.
