Good historic theater, small, but even with seat in upper balcony, had a good view; sound and lights excellent. Theater mostly "vertical" orientation, so pitch of seats is quite steep, but this helps ensure decent view, even high up. Drawback of upper seats is that...More

I was in DC for a meeting/conference and heard that a Mean Girls musical, produced by Tina Fey, was starting here before going to Broadway in 2018. It was a hot ticket so I wanted to check it out. Unfortunately, that meant sitting in the...More

Saw a show here, Mean Girls, and the place is a very good venue to see show. It is on the smaller side so all the seats are close. The lobby is small and the bathrooms are very crowded and are all upstairs. The seats...More

Went to the National Theatre to see Mean Girls. The National is a comfortable cozy theatre. Good sight lines, comfortable seating, good acoustics. Overall, a very nice night out.

I would just say to go here to see humanity in it's fullness. Sometimes we need to see the bad and the good together in order to understand more internally about ourselves. Definitely a must see.

Older theatre in a good location. Lobby is kinda small, not much room to move around. Concessions are outrageously priced! Seats are nicely padded and a decent size. Leg room is terrible. Almost impossible to get to a seat in the middle of a row.

Very nice theater, good views from every angle, even if we were on the floor in the middle. The seats were comfy, though they could use just a bit more knee room. No photography of the interior was allowed even before the show started and...More

My family and I like to attend at least one Christmas performance every year. This year we chose The Grinch at the National Theater. It was a lively performance with colorful costumes and lots of cheer. Comfy seats and ample legroom between the aisles. Two...More

I suggest you try looking at websites, including "culture capital" site. It looks like the National Theater is dark this August, and Phantom of the Opera is one of the shows at the Kennedy Center (it has 3 separate venues... More
