Right in front of the Lincoln Memorial, but it's really beautiful. It has views of both: the Washington Monument & Lincoln Memorial.

I could have stayed here for hours. Its the newest memorial, so its very well planned and MASSIVE!! All the details are awesome. Fountains and all the states represented.

I was there on VJ Day and the wreaths were impressive. It helps us realize how much we owe those who went to fight for our freedom.

We went at night to avoid the heat. Harder to get good photos, but looks awesome as it is lit up at night. A must see if youre in DC

As long as you feel necessary! I will say that an average people spend 45 minutes. Plenty to see and learn in the area and is free.
Is there disabled parking next to the memorial?

I believe there is, when i visited there was a lot of visitors in wheel chairs, and good disabled access to the memorial. The veterans in question had come by coach, but i am sure there was car parking there as well.
Is it safe for a woman alone at night? Can I place flowers at the Pacific Theatre area for my father?
